The question is not whether it is AI or automation.

But whether you have an operation that can be automated.

Before we talk about AI, it is worth asking a few simple questions:

• Do we still understand the end-to-end business processes?
  • Are automation decisions trackable and auditable?
  • Is the operation stable and scalable?
  • Is there control over data and processes?

AI does not replace operational maturity. Rather, it points out the shortcomings of the automation ecosystem.
