AI, childhood photos, and an exciting beer pong tournament – at this year's Clarity Picnic, shared experiences took center stage. After our professional AI day, we moved out to the yard to continue the day in a more relaxed manner, ensuring there was time for recreation alongside the professional program.

Familiar faces, with a twist

First, we tested how well we recognize each other from childhood photos. The task seemed simple: guess which colleague was looking back at us from the picture. However, the answers held quite a few surprises!

And since the whole day revolved around AI, it also played a role at the picnic: after looking at the past, we also got a glimpse into the future. With the help of artificial intelligence, we saw what we might look like at 70–80 years old. This unusual time travel provided a great opportunity to see each other in a slightly different light.

Two tables, close matches, junior victory

Next, the cups and ping pong balls came out, and the beer pong tournament began. Matches took place on two tables simultaneously, with close scores and some memorable throws. It turned out that we have plenty of talent in the team in this area as well.

The championship title was ultimately claimed by a duo of our junior colleagues, who marched confidently to the finals and remained undefeated. Congratulations to them once again!

Shared experiences matter too

The now-traditional Clarity Picnic provides an opportunity to connect with each other beyond daily tasks. A childhood photo, a shared laugh, or an exciting match all contribute to getting to know the people we work with every day a little better.

By the end of this year's picnic, we felt the same way: it is great to work together, and just as great to unwind together.
